\nTheir mobility limitations often prevent them from taking part in life on equal footing with their healthy peers. They are marginalised in society. Yet these children, too, are full members of society. They deserve to be accepted, valued, and cared for. Being a full member of society isn’t a special need – it’s basic. We’re moving towards a more tolerant society, one that has even greater respect for individual dignity and rights.
